After 206 Powerpuff Girls storyboards, I needed to do something a bit more tight and controlled to give my wrist a break, haha. Plus, I love drawing Pokemon sososo much (No waaaay!) and realized that I hadn't done anything for in a while. Soooo I shimmied on over and saw that the Pokemon of the Month was Seedot. I had never drawn a Seedot. Now I have drawn a Seedot. That's my story.
I should probably have planned this out first, but whatever. It was fun
Oooooh, this came out awesome! You're very skilled with the pen-n-ink. I really like how much texture and depth everything has because of the cleverly-used pen marks, strokes, and dots.
I especially admire how you portrayed the water. That's something I've always found very difficult with pen. Another part that I think came out really great is the Seedot's acorn cap. The depth came out particularly well there. I feel like I could run my fingers over it and feel the lobes.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
